Our school has established the ‘Parent-Teacher Association’ (PTA) with the aim of fostering parent communication, assisting the school in organizing various activities, and providing feedback and support to facilitate the continuous development of the school.

PTA Constitution
Chairperson’s Message

Principal, teachers, parents, and fellow students, greetings to all! My name is Polly Lee

I am honored to be the Chairperson of the inaugural Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude to the principal for establishing the PTA and to all the teacher representatives for their assistance in providing parents with an additional communication platform. I would also like to thank the selfless contributions of all the PTA members. Together, we can achieve the goal of fostering collaboration between home and school.

I would like to take this opportunity to share a story with all of you – “The Story of Bamboo.” In the first four years of its growth, bamboo only grows 3 centimeters in the soil. However, starting from the fifth year, it rapidly shoots up at a rate of 30 centimeters per day. In just six weeks, it can grow to a height of approximately 15 meters. The bamboo spends four years firmly establishing its roots in the soil, absorbing various nutrients, and preparing itself for future growth. Similarly, our children, before entering primary school, spend three years in kindergarten, learning self-care, discipline, and laying a solid foundation of knowledge. We provide them with diverse nourishment to prepare them for their future learning endeavors.

I hope that the establishment of the PTA will encourage parents to participate in its activities, engage in discussions with other parents, and gain insights into the current challenges our children face in their learning, emotions, and well-being. Together, we can discover more effective ways to guide our children’s growth and help them find their own life goals.

Mrs. Polly Lee
Chairperson of Parent-Teacher Association
